On August 3rd 2019, our Ag Boosters organization hosted the second annual Sporting Clays for FFA. All proceeds benefit the Salinas FFA chapter. We had an amazing turn out. A huge thank you to the committee that helped make this event possible. Thank you to JJ Jeffries of Gold Star Motors for helping us bring in sponsors and providing the staff and food for our BBQ.

The Salinas advisors and officer team welcome our new and returning FFA members to the 2019-2020 school year. The officer team work diligently over the summer planning an array of fun activities for the year. We encourage each one of our members to "Step up and Stand Out" this year.
Cowboys, National FFA Week is almost here! Stop by our many events shown above to have fun and celebrate with us!
We had some festive fun at a
cookie decorating party! We
relieved the stress from finals by decorating some delicious
cookies, listening to some festive
tunes, and having fun with our
fellow chapter members!
We had lots of fun at our own FFA
Thanksgiving when we got back from break! Great food, friends, and apple
cider made it one to remember as
members gathered around the table,
took pictures at our photobooth,
and remembered why they're
thankful to be in FFA.
Last week, 6 members of Salinas FFA traveled to Indiana to go to the 2018 National FFA Convention and Expo! Some highlights included learning how to make soy candles, getting new FFA gear at the huge expo, watching Donald Trump, and seeing our fellow Californian Luke O'Leary be the new FFA National President!
